Our Artists and Their Art
"Art has always been a part of who I am and I have given that part of me greater or lesser amounts of attention at different times in my life. As I have accomplished life goals; marriage, career, “stability”, I find I have once again connected with my creative self and let it be a central part of who I am and what I do.
Recently, my preference has been towards the use of acrylic paint. Composition and palette seem to define my work more then the brushwork as I tend to fluctuate between a loose, rough, broad-brush approach and a softer more contained “look”.
I don’t have a particular philosophy about art or how I approach my work other than it is important to have fun."
