Denise is an educator, mentor and student advocate who specializes in creating educational environments that lead to independence and love of learning. Denise is founder of a Montessori Elementary School which went onto be approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The mission of the Kerry Jon Walker Fund to provide global experiences for economically disadvantaged Boston students drew her to want to contribute in every way possible. Denise recalls seeing her friend, Mikey Walker, return from each Kerry Jon Walker Fund led student service Rwanda trip with a sparkle in her eye and love for every person she met.
Prior to being an educator, Denise published research at Cornell and Columbia University in NYC.
