Sharon Whitham

Sharon’s background includes more than 30 years of management and consulting experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development. She has worked with a broad range of clients in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Prior to her work in organizations, Sharon was a private practice Psychotherapist and spent many years working with girls and woman at Planned Parenthood. Sharon has an undergraduate degree in Public Health with a focus in Health Education from the University of Massachusetts. She also holds a M.Ed. degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology from Harvard University.Over the past three decades, Sharon has served on several not-for-profit Boards of Directors and worked on many fundraising committees and events.

Sharon is also a printmaker and mixed-media artist who spends part of each year working out of her studio in Boston, living on an island off the coast of Maine, and creating art in Mexico. Sharon’s work is inspired by both nature and culture, focused on themes of connectedness, balance and impermanence, as well as the current crises around social justice, immigration and climate change. Sharon is represented by several galleries throughout the US and also exhibits her work internationally. Sharon’s work is in several public spaces in the Boston area.
